They also use recycle fabric for our packaging, like left over scraps of saris and other garments to package our bags.

All bags are made in India by small, independent artisans from rural communities, which they work closely with to help grow their business and production capabilities. All their artisans receive fair trade wages and the partnership with them is the best method of job creation in low income environments and also a way to preserve generational craftsmanship. The economic empowerment gives them the opportunity to stay in their villages, supporting their family, and they will be less likely to migrate to urban areas.
