By day, Jess is the founder and Creative Director of dollHOUSE design + build, where she's spent the past six years transforming century homes into vibrant, functional spaces.

Dopamine is where she comes to recharge.

After a day of construction sites, budgets and blueprints, you'll usually find Jess wandering vintage markets, discovering independent artists, or texting the team photos of something wonderfully absurd with the caption, "Guys... we need this."

She has an uncanny ability to spot the extraordinary hiding among the ordinary. While most people see a crowded antique mall or a sprawling vintage market, Jess sees possibility - a one-of-a-kind lamp, the perfect leather jacket, an artist you've never heard of yet, or the weird little ceramic creature you suddenly can't imagine living without.

Jess firmly believes life is too short for boring homes, boring outfits, or boring coffee mugs. Fortunately for everyone else, her inability to leave beautiful things behind has somehow turned into a career.

 

Jac

Senior Manager • Operations • Professional Chaos Wrangler

If Jess is the creative spark behind Dopamine, Jac is the reason the lights are on, the shelves are stocked, and everyone knows what they're supposed to be doing.

After beginning her journey with dollHOUSE on the construction team, Jac eventually found her way back to her first love: retail. With a background in retail management and a degree in Visual Merchandising, she has an incredible eye for creating spaces that feel equal parts inspiring, inviting and impossible to leave empty-handed.

She's the operational mastermind behind the scenes, keeping the team organized, the displays evolving, and the never-ending stream of new arrivals somehow under control.

While Jess is busy discovering the next great find, Jac is making sure it has the perfect place to shine.

Whether she's styling a display, unpacking the latest shipment or helping someone find the perfect gift, Jac has an uncanny ability to make every corner of Dopamine feel welcoming. She's equal parts creative, practical, and the calm in the middle of our wonderfully chaotic little world.

 

Brigitte

Store Manager • Artist • Community Builder

Brigitte has worn a lot of hats over the years - artist, educator, business advisor, program manager and creative problem solver - but they've all had one thing in common: helping people discover something new.

With a background in the arts, entrepreneurship and community building, she brings curiosity, creativity and an appreciation for thoughtfully made things to every shift at Dopamine. A lifelong thrifter and working artist, she's always happy to chat about local makers, hidden gems and the stories behind the pieces you'll find throughout the shop.

If you're lucky enough to wander into Dopamine while Brigitte's working, don't be surprised if you come in looking for a birthday card... and leave with a conversation, a recommendation and three things you didn't know you needed.
